The HID kits For A Safe Journey

There has been a revolutionary change in favor of the motorists in the recent past. So far, the headlight bulbs used have been of the halogen variety. The halogen bulbs have given good service so far but after the advent of High Intensity Discharge or HID light kit things changed dramatically. It was realized that the HID light was 300% more intense than the halogen light. Besides, the HID was based on high intensity discharge occurring between two tungsten electrodes inside a fused tube of quartz filled with a noble gas such as Xenon. The resultant color temperature of light at between 4300k and 6000k was if anything, more powerful than even daylight at 4300k. HID light kit was any day far safer than the standard halogen light at only 2300k. But, this was only half the story.

The HID headlight kits, on an average, last for ten years or 3000 hours of use, far more than what the standard halogen kits can ever hope to match. It was, therefore, proved that the HID kits were necessary for a safe journey. There are HID headlight kits for almost all the cars one sees on the road today. One can quite easily find out the equivalent kit for one’s vehicle by checking up the bulb guide. The HID kits are simple to install since no splicing is involved. One will not normally require a specialist to help with the installation. However, there is a video kit available, as well. Each HID kit comes with a standard one-year warranty and the kit includes two bulbs, two ballasts and two brackets for the ballasts. All HID kits are dispatched from the US. You will, therefore, get yours within a couple of days.
