HID kits for Safe Drives

Man’s eyes have been programmed to see best when in daylight conditions. Therefore, at night due to the absence of daylight, our eyes cannot adjust readily to darkness, and it is no longer safe to drive especially when you are trying to make do with the standard halogen lights. While daylight color temperatures are in the vicinity of 4300k, halogen gives you only around 2300k. But, now thanks to the High Intensity Discharge or HID light kits, things are beginning to be safe again.

HID light kits work on the principle of sparks jumping across tungsten electrodes in an environment of Xenon or similar noble gases sealed inside a tube of quartz. There is no filament involved unlike in the case of the halogen bulbs. HID resembles daylight since its color temperatures range between 4300k and 6000k. This is why HID conversion kits are a must for safe drives.

The HID conversion kits will give you 300% more light than the standard halogen headlights. They also consume 35% less electricity and last a whole lot more, around ten years on an average. You can get these kits for all types of cars virtually. There are HID kits for the Mercedes and Jaguar besides the Jeep, Kawasaki and Lexus or Lada. The kits are easy to install and normally you will be able to do it yourself on your own. Each kit consists of two bulbs, two ballasts and two brackets. No modification is involved during installation and you can quite easily find out the equivalent kit for your vehicle. The HID kits come with a standard year’s warranty and are dispatched to you from within the US.
